With its 2165 metres of altitude, Monte Cimone is the most important elevation in the northern Apennines. You can enjoy a priceless view from its summit: due to its geographical position, it is believed to be the point from which you can see the largest portion of Italian territory!

Montecreto is one of the most beautiful villages, among those that stand at the foot of Monte Cimone. Located on the Via Francigena passage, it offers tennis courts, football, bowls and some interesting cultural locations, such as the “House of the stone lions” museum, which tells the story of the territory over more than two millennia, up to contemporary times.
